Built from scratch with native WinUI 3 - no Electron, no browser wrappers. Full GPU-accelerated H.264/H.265 screen capture, loopback audio, multi-monitor support, drag-and-drop file transfer, clipboard sync, and gamepad passthrough. Runs as a Windows Service so it survives reboots and log-offs. Includes built-in auto-updates via WinSparkle (EdDSA-signed end-to-end), so you always have the latest version with one click.

Release Notes

Remio Host 2.6.4 - no more connecting to a black screen, and a crash when ending a session is fixed.

  • Fixed: the Host could let your device connect, finish the handshake and then never send a single frame, leaving you staring at a black screen until your device gave up twelve seconds later. The Host now makes sure it can actually produce a picture before it lets a session start, and repairs itself if it cannot - so you either get your screen or a quick, honest failure you can retry.
  • Fixed: stopping a session, or quitting the Host while it was busy recovering your picture, could shut the whole app down without warning. Those moments are handled cleanly now, so the Host stays running and reachable.
