Cross sections, live-feed resilience, and a choice of toolbar.
- Cross sections draw discrete radar beams by default: one band per tilt
with honest gaps where the radar never sampled, half-beamwidth extents
after Zhang et al. (2011). The smooth interpolated view remains as a
toggle in the section window. Closing the window now disarms endpoint
placement.
- When a site's realtime chunk feed dies upstream, the app now falls back
to the Level II archive bucket and keeps the picture current, labelled
"archive fallback" with its true age; it returns to the realtime feed
automatically when that leads again. A stalled feed is announced on the
toolbar and on the pane instead of silently ageing.
- Two toolbar styles, one setting apart (Settings > Appearance): the
compact menu bar (default) and the everything-visible row from v0.1.0.
- Frame age readouts on the status line and pane headers; contrast-audited
chrome in both theme benches.
The executable is unsigned; Windows SmartScreen will warn on first run.
