  • General stability updates and bug fixes, with a particular focus on issues related to monitor connections and EDID reading.

C1. Issues Fixed Since 12.1 M0 Release (12.1.2424.0) Issues Fixed in 12.2 M2 Release (12.2.2412.0)

  • DL-7xxx: Improved handling of an issue where the monitor could appear blank or display an incorrect resolution after the system wakes from sleep (VIFR-7331, VIFR-7533).
  • DL-7xxx: Resolved an issue where monitors could remain blank indefinitely after power cycling the dock while the machine was powered off (VIFR-7442).
  • DL-4xxx: Resolved an issue causing image distortion on select ARM64-based systems (VIFR-7564).

Issues Fixed in 12.2 M1 Release (12.2.2204.0)

  • DL-6xxx, DL-7xxx: Fixed an issue where the monitor could appear missing, blank, or use an incorrect resolution after waking the system from sleep. (VIFR-6964).
  • DL-6xxx: Resolved a problem that caused the screen to remain black when connecting a monitor with MST mode support. (VIFR-7367).
  • DL-7xxx: Resolved an issue where changing the resolution on specific monitors could cause image distortion. (VIFR-7182)

Issues Fixed in 12.2 M0 Release (12.2.1932.0)

  • DL-7xxx: Resolved an issue where a mode not supported by the monitor could be applied (VIFR-7017).

Issues Fixed in 12.1 M2 Release (12.1.2853.0)

  • Addressed an issue where the device driver would occasionally crash when resuming from sleep (S3 state) (VIFR-6913).

Issues Fixed in 12.1 M1 Release (12.1.2591.0)

  • DL-7xxx: Addressed an issue where the display would occasionally fail to reappear after resuming from sleep (S3 state) (VIFR-6796).
